Student will study four modules. The first being the ICLS module along with three additional academic modules. These academic modules ensures that students from a wide variety of educational backgrounds are provided with an academic foundation in the area of their chosen Master degree. In the Pre-Masters in Engineering Management, the three modules will cover the following academic areas at an introductory level: • Operating and Financial Management The assessment for the various modules will be through regular tests, assignments and a dissertation. Most modules will also have a final two hour exam. How long is the Pre-Masters Programme Unlike other Pre-Masters programs which range from half a year to a year, CRIC’s programme is 12 weeks in duration. Which Masters degree does this Pre-Master lead into? • MSc Engineering Management The Integrated Communication and Learning Skills (ICLS) module is offered in every programme which provides students with language competency across a wide range of areas including, written papers, group work, public speaking, technology assisted presentations, university level referencing and debating. This module will improve your essay writing, communication, and presentation skills, which are key areas that a student needs to be comfortable with to succeed in their chosen Masters degree. |
